The offerings include software development, IT consultancy, IT support, and VoIP business phone systems.</p> <p>The Role: Senior IT Engineer (IT Support) – Full time, Permanent Position in Central London</p> <p>There is currently an opening for a Senior IT Engineer to provide IT support for a small number of clients. The person will be responsible for the provision of the IT support and the client relationship management.</p> <p>Essential Requirements</p> <p>• 5+ years experience in IT support, 3+ years in Server support.<br /> • Server platforms: Windows 2000, Windows 2003, Linux.<br /> • Server applications: MS Exchange Server.<br /> • Backup software: Veritas/Symantec Backup Exec or equivalent.<br /> • Antivirus package installation,remote access, <span class="caps">VPN</span> technologies.<br /> • Good understanding of TCP/IP and all services such as <span class="caps">DNS</span> & <span class="caps">DHCP</span>.<br /> • Basic firewall and <span class="caps">NAT</span> configuration.<br /> • Good customer facing and communication skills. Smart and presentable where needed, prepared to crawl under tables and sort out cabling as necessary.<br /> • Customer service, commitment and flexibility are a “must” for the job.<br /> • Good troubleshooting/diagnostic abilities.<br /> • Good hardware support skills.<br /> • Good basic understanding of MS Office Suite</p> <p>Desirable Skills</p> <p>• Server Applications: MS <span class="caps">SQL</span> Server, SharePoint Services<br /> • Unix, Linux, MySQL, Apache/<span class="caps">IIS</span>, Perl, scripting skills<br /> • Active Directory policy configuration<br /> • Cisco router configuration<br /> • Exposure to <span class="caps">VOIP</span> technology (will be given the opportunity anyway)<br /> • MCSE/MCSA/MCP/<span class="caps">CCNA</span></p> <p>The Benefits</p> <p>Kinitron is an ideal environment for achievers, visionaries and for people who want to do hands-on work at all levels.
